In 2015 CJ Ramone was Invited by Cuba's Ministry of Culture and it's government to hold a series non-profit concerts in the Island's capital of Havana.
Faced with the opportunity of taking the Ramones' flag to what once was considered prohibited territory for North Americans, the band embarked on a Crowd Funding campaign aimed at making this historical and controversial journey a reality.
On September 11, 2015, CJ and his band arrived at José Marti Airport in Havana Cuba, and became the first "American Punk (s) to land and formally perform on the island.
